We support sick newborn, their parents and those that care for them; by providing emotional, medical, financial and informational support.
We are at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

On behalf of the staff and Board of Trustees of SSNAP ( Supporting Sick Newborn and their Parents)
It is with the deepest of sadness to inform you of the death of our Charity Lead Martin George Realey who passed away in his sleep on 9th March 2025.
As well as being the driving force in transforming SSNAP, Martin was also a friend, father, sportsman, inspirational fundraiser, and a proud ex-paratrooper.
Martin’s life has touched many, especially in their hour of need, where hope is needed. Martin provided this with his positive and empathetic approach.
Martin will be sadly missed, and we will be here to support all of those who knew Martin. He will always remain in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.
Our thoughts are also with his closest family and friends at this difficult time.
Despite this loss, SSNAP will keep providing essential services to support the neonatal unit and families at John Radcliffe Hospital through the family care team and wider services which the charity support.
Martin would have wanted us to continue to maintain full support for the charity and the up-and-coming events.

Chair of the Board of Trustees
“There is no better charity to raise money or donate money to. The people that work for SSNAP are the most selfless, caring and kind people you could ever meet and their work deserves every penny that is raised to help the charity!” - Lily
