SSNAP were absolutely delighted to receive a cheque on Monday from Rye St Antony School, after they raised an incredible £1200 from their charity day last week!
House Captain for Hendred House, Marina Dodds, chose SSNAP as one of the charities to fundraise for, after her and her parents were supported by SSNAP 17 years ago!
Marina was born in February 2005 at the JR at 24 weeks, weighing just 1lb 7oz! She was cared for by SCBU for many weeks and over the years her parents said they have made her very aware of her early birth and the work of SSNAP. So we were absolutely thrilled that 17 years on, Marina chose SSNAP as one of the main charities!
The students did lots of wonderful things to raise money, from wearing non-uniform and donating a £1, to bingo, a raffle and tombola.
A HUGE thank you to Marina and all the staff, students and parents of Rye St Antony School, including Marina's parents too for all of their support. We are so glad we were able to be there for you 17 years ago and that you still think of SSNAP all these years on. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you xx
