“Hello, my name is Donna Khan, my previous role was as an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant working in a primary school. I have been fortunate to dedicate over 20 years of my life to working in schools, supporting children in various capacities.
I have been married to my husband, Sarfraz (or Saf), for 30 years. Saf is a self-employed taxi driver for Oxfordshire County Council, providing vital transportation services for disabled children to and from school.
In 2004, I gave birth prematurely to my twin daughters, Aalya and Zahra, who were born at just 25 weeks. After spending four months in the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), they grew into strong, resilient young women. Aalya is now 20 years old and in her third year at university, studying philosophy. Zahra initially studied physiology for two years but found her true passion in paediatric nursing; she is now in her first year of training.
As a family, we cherish traveling, attending theatre performances, and spending quality time together. I am excited to be part of the SSNAP team and look forward to meeting and working alongside all of you”
