SSNAP are delighted to have purchased 8 much needed Calesca Milk warming/thawing machines for the unit today with the help of Oxfordshire Freemasons.
Calesca is a waterless warming and thawing device that optimises and standardises human milk processes. It can be placed on an IV pole beside each NICU bed or on a worktop for preparing feeds and is a vital piece of equipment needed for the unit.
Andrew Keech, Charity Steward for Oxfordshire Freemasons, said “We are thrilled to support SSNAP again with this project, knowing what a difference the machines will make to parents at such a difficult time.”
A HUGE thank you to Oxfordshire Freemasons for their very generous donation of £6000 towards buying these essential pieces of equipment, thank you SO much x
