We had the most incredible surprise earlier in the week. Read below in Louise's own words:

"Following my Facebook message yesterday I just wanted to send a message to provide some context on our fundraising.

I work for N Family Club, a chain of 36 (currently) nurseries across the country as the Head of People. On Tuesday and Wednesday this week a task force of 10 senior leaders were at an offsite in Brighton. Yesterday our Executive Coach set us a team challenge to raise as much money for a charity as we could in a 3 hour period.

When my first son Charlie was born in May 2018 he was premature and had a collapsed lung. Therefore we were transferred to John Radcliffe hospital with him. We were very soon introduced to SSNAP and you provided us with accommodation close to the hospital so that we had somewhere to shower and rest and stay near Charlie. This is something I am and will always be incredibly grateful for.

Therefore when this challenge was set I immediately suggested SSNAP as the charity that we could raise money for and fortunately all of the team agreed! We set a goal of raising £1000 which we quickly realised wasn’t ambitious enough considering the number of donations that we immediately received. We contacted local businesses to see if they would donate any raffle prizes and were able to obtain some vouchers. We sent comms to all of N Family team members to advertise the ‘flash raffle’ which again boosted donations higher. We are naturally a very ambitious and committed group and then all agreed on a ‘stretch’ target of donations of £5000, which if we reached we would all run into the Brighton sea!

By speaking with friends, family, team members, our board of directors, suppliers and even our investors with 1 minute of the challenge to spare we had raised £5.4k! And I have checked again this morning and donations have increased even more!

I will forever be grateful to SSNAP for the support that you provided me with, and I will forever be grateful to my company for giving me the opportunity to raise such a significant amount to support you in your work."
